How to Create an EOT Variation

Need to add an Extension of Time (EOT) variation to your project? Follow these steps to create and manage EOT variations effectively in Mastt.

Before creating an EOT Variation, you need to have a Completion Date on the Contract. Follow this guide if you need any guidance on adding the Completion Date

How to add an Extension of Time (EOT) Variation

  1. Starting in the Cost Module, click on the Variations tab.
  2. Click on the + Add Variation button.
  3. On the Add Variation form:
    1. Enter a Variation Title - this will help you identify the Variation.
    2. Select the Varying Contract - this is the Contract that you are adding the EOT to.
    3. Select the Variation Category
    4. Select the Variation Status
    5. Add the EOT value to the Variation EOT field.
  4. Once you have finished, click Add, and the Variation will be added to your Project!

The Preliminary EOT field should not be filled in unless there is a difference between the initially requested EOT and the approved EOT. If there is no difference, then fill in the Variation EOT field ONLY.
