How to Create Your First Program Dashboard
Complete guide to setting up program dashboards for multi-project oversight
Program dashboards consolidate data from multiple projects into one organised display. Use them to track progress, costs, and risks across your entire construction program at a glance.
Before You Start
- You need Workspace Admin access
- Your program must include at least two projects
- If you haven't created a program yet, see How to Create and Manage Programs
Opening Your Program
- Click Programs from the main navigation.
- Click the program you want to create a dashboard for.

Creating Your Dashboard
Click New Dashboard in the top left corner of the Dashboard page. This opens the AI Dashboard Creator, where you can choose from three options:

Create with AI
- Select Create with AI.
- Describe the dashboard you want in the text field, or use one of the sample prompts provided.
- Set the Number of pages if needed.
- Click Create Dashboard to generate your dashboard.
For a detailed guide on AI-assisted dashboards, see How to Use the AI Dashboard Creator.
Browse Templates
- Select Browse Templates to open the Template Library.
- Browse the available templates, or use the search field to find a specific one.
- Filter by All, My Workspace, or Mastt to narrow your results.
- Hover over a template card and click View Template to preview it.
- Click Use Template to apply it to your program.

Blank Canvas
- Select Blank Canvas.
- Click + Add Tiles in the upper left corner.
- Hover over a tile in the library and click + Add Tile. Repeat for additional tiles.
- Click X to close the tile library — all selected tiles appear on your dashboard.
Customising Your Dashboard
Once your dashboard is created, you can organise it to suit your reporting needs. Drag and drop tiles to rearrange the layout, resize them by dragging their edges, and apply your company branding. Changes are saved automatically.
For the full guide on customisation options, see How to Create and Manage Dashboards.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Q: Can I create more than one dashboard per program?
Yes. Click New Dashboard from the Dashboard page to create additional dashboards for different reporting needs.
Q: What's the difference between a project dashboard and a program dashboard?
A project dashboard displays data for a single project. A program dashboard aggregates data across all projects within that program, giving you a consolidated view.
