Programs in Mastt allow you to group related projects together for easier oversight and reporting. Use programs to give stakeholders visibility across multiple projects at once, track program-level metrics, and manage user access centrally.
This guide covers how to create a new program, set it up with projects and users, and manage existing programs.
Before You Start
- You need Workspace Admin access to create programs. Program creation is limited to specific users based on permissions.
- Programs are only available on certain subscription plans.
- Contact your administrator or Mastt Support if you don't see these options or this feature is not available in your workspace.
Creating a Program
Access the Create Program Form
- Click your profile name in the top right corner of the screen
- Select Admin from the dropdown menu
- Click Programs in the left navigation sidebar
- Click the + Create Program button
Add Program Details
- In the Name & Photo tab, enter your Program Name in the text field
- Click Upload Image to add a program photo, then select the image from your computer (Optional)
- Click Next to continue
Choose a clear, descriptive program name that helps users quickly identify the group of projects it contains.
Set Program Information (Optional)
- In the Program Information tab, click the currency symbol dropdown and select or type the currency symbol you want to use for this program. Learn about Currency Symbols here.
- Click Save
Add Projects
- In the Add/Remove Projects tab, click the Add Projects to Program dropdown
- A list of available projects appears — click each project you want to add
- Click Add Projects to confirm your selections
- Click Save
You can add or remove projects at any time after the program is created.
Invite Users
- In the User Management tab, click the Enter email to invite field to type a new email address or select an existing user from the dropdown
- Set the user permission level
- Click Invite Users to send the invitation
- Click Save to complete the program setup
New users receive an email invitation to create their account. Existing users are added directly with no notification.
Assign the correct permission level. Users with Admin permissions can make changes to the program and its settings.
Managing an Existing Program
Access Program Settings
- Navigate inside the program you want to manage
- Look at the bottom left of the side navigation
- Click the Settings icon (cog)
This opens the program settings directly.
Alternative methods:
- From the Home page: Click Programs in the left navigation bar, find your program, click the Action button (three dots), and select Program Settings
- From the Admin panel: Click your profile name > Admin > Programs, find your program, click the Action button (three dots), and select Edit
Add or Remove Projects
To add a project:
- In the Add/Remove Projects tab, click Add project to program
- Select the project from the dropdown
- Click Add Projects to confirm
- Click Save
To remove a project:
- Locate the project in the project list
- Click the Action button next to the project name
- Click Remove
- Confirm the removal
Invite Additional Users
- In the User Management tab, click the Enter email to invite field to type a new email address or select an existing user from the dropdown
- Set the appropriate user permission level
- Click Invite User

Troubleshooting & FAQs
Q: What if I can't find the Programs option in Admin?
Programs are included in Enterprise subscription plans and available as an add-on for Pro plans. Contact your administrator or Mastt Support to check your subscription level or enable this feature.
Q: Can I move a project between programs?
Yes. A project can belong to multiple programs simultaneously — simply add it to any program without removing it from existing ones.
