How to Customize Dashboard Branding

Complete guide to brand customization for construction project dashboards

Dashboard branding helps you create professional, client-ready reports that reflect your company's visual identity. Use these customization options when preparing dashboards for client presentations or internal reporting that requires brand consistency.

Before you start:

  • Ensure you have your company's RGB color codes
  • Have your logo file ready for upload (PNG or JPG format recommended)
  • Consider your dashboard layout before adding cover pages

Steps

Customize big number tile colors

  1. Click + Add Tiles (upper left) and select Big Number tile to add it to your dashboard
  2. Click the action button (upper right corner of tile) on any big number tile
  3. Select Settings and custom Color
  4. Use the custom color selector to enter your brand's RGB values, or select from Mastt's preset colors
  5. Click Apply to save the color change

Add branded color blocks using rich text

  1. Click + Add Tiles (upper left) and select Custom Text Box tile to add it to your dashboard
  2. Click the action button (upper right corner of the tile) to edit rich text
  3. Select the background color option
  4. Use the custom color selector to enter your RGB code
  5. Leave the text field empty to display a solid colour block, or add content inside to show text details within the block
  6. Click Save to apply the branded color tile

Upload your company logo

  1. Navigate to the Project tab
  2. Click Settings (bottom right)
  3. Select Brand
  4. Click Upload workspace logo or upload a client-specific logo
  5. Choose your logo file and confirm upload

Modify dashboard fonts

  1. In the Brand settings, locate the Font options
  2. Select your preferred font from the available choices
  3. Click Save to apply font changes across the dashboard

Create a custom cover page

  1. Add a new Rich Text tile
  2. Resize the tile to span the full-page width
  3. Click the Action button (upper right corner of tile) and select Edit text
  4. Customise your tile with font, images and table
  5. Click the table icon to add a table with your desired number of columns and rows
  6. In each table cell, add:
    • Company name and project details
    • Images or logos
    • Contact information
    • Emojis or visual elements as needed
  7. Customize fonts and formatting within each cell
  8. Click Save when your cover page is complete

Finalize your branded dashboard

  1. Review your cover page layout
  2. Click Save (upper left) to confirm all branding changes
  3. Build your dashboard content from page 2 onwards

Set report orientation (optional)

  1. Click the Action button in the top-right corner of your dashboard
  2. Select Settings and choose Portrait from Print Orientation to switch from landscape layout
  3. Allow dashboard elements to rearrange automatically

Troubleshooting

  • Problem: Colors don't match exactly Solution: Double-check your RGB values and use the custom color selector rather than preset options
  • Problem: Logo appears pixelated Solution: Upload a higher resolution image file (minimum 300px width recommended)
