How to Customise Dashboard Branding

Complete guide to brand customisation for construction project dashboards

Dashboard branding helps you create professional, client-ready reports that reflect your company's visual identity. Use these options when preparing dashboards for client presentations or internal reporting that requires brand consistency.

Before You Start

  • Have your company's RGB colour codes ready
  • Have your logo file ready for upload (PNG or JPG format recommended)

Dashboard tile layout changes (moving, resizing, adding, and removing tiles) are autosaved. However, edits made inside tiles — such as rich text content, fonts, and colours — must be saved manually by clicking Save

Customising Tile Colours

Big Number Tiles

  1. Click + Add Tiles in the upper left and select a Big Number tile.
  2. Click the Action button on the tile (upper right corner).
  3. Select Settings and choose Colour.
  4. Enter your brand's RGB values using the custom colour selector, or select from the preset colours.
  5. Click Save to apply.

Colour Blocks Using Rich Text

  1. Click + Add Tiles in the upper left and select a Custom Text Box tile.
  2. Click the Action button on the tile.
  3. Select the background colour option.
  4. Enter your RGB code using the custom colour selector.
  5. Leave the text field empty to display a solid colour block, or add content to show text within the block.
  6. Click Save to apply.

Setting Up Brand Assets

Upload Your Company Logo

  1. Click Settings in the side navigation bar to open Project Settings.
  2. Select Brand from the left-hand menu.
  3. Under Logos, click Upload Image beneath either:
    • Client Logo — for your client's branding
    • Workspace Logo — for your own company branding
  4. Choose your logo file and confirm the upload.
  5. Click Save to apply.

Modify Dashboard Fonts

  1. In the Brand settings, scroll down to the Font section.
  2. Select your preferred font from the dropdown. This font will be shown in your payment letters.
  3. Click Save to apply.

Creating a Custom Cover Page

  1. Add a new Rich Text tile to your dashboard.
  2. Resize the tile to span the full-page width.
  3. Click the Action button on the tile and select Edit text.
  4. Click the table icon to add a table with your desired number of columns and rows.
  5. In each table cell, add your content — company name, project details, images, logos, or contact information.
  6. Customise fonts and formatting within each cell.
  7. Click Save when your cover page is complete.

Finalising Your Branded Dashboard

  1. Review your cover page layout — any tile arrangement changes are autosaved.
  2. Build your dashboard content from page 2 onwards.

Set Report Orientation (Optional)

  1. Click the Action button in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
  2. Select Settings and choose Portrait from Print Orientation to switch from landscape layout.
  3. Allow dashboard elements to rearrange automatically.

For detailed report formatting options, see How to Set Dashboard Reports to Portrait.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: Why don't my colours match exactly?

Double-check your RGB values and use the custom colour selector rather than preset options.

Q: Why does my logo appear pixelated?

Upload a higher resolution image file (minimum 300px width recommended).
